    - Mệnh đề quan hệ được dùng để bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đứng trước nó. (Mệnh đề quan hệ được bắt đầu bằng đại từ quan hệ: who, which, that)


    Notes (lưu ý)
    - Phải dùng “that” trong các trường hợp sau
    + Cụm danh từ hỗn hợp chỉ người và vật
    They saw the men and their cattles that went to the field.
    + Sau tính từ so sánh nhất và the first, the last, the only…
    She is the most intelligent girl that I’ve ever seen.

    - Không được dùng “that” trong các trường hợp: Có giới từ,
    hoặc có dấu phảy đứng trước ĐTQH.

    + who/ that: thay thế cho đại từ hoặc danh từ chỉ người.
    + which/ that: thay thế cho đại từ hoặc danh từ chỉ vật.
